“Our mission is to pamper you with a luxury picnic experience, providing an unforgettable escape into indulgence and relaxation”
Our journey started during our regular walks along the Vancouver seawall admiring the beauty of the landscape and feeling the happiness of people around us, sharing moments with their loved ones, playing in the sand and sharing delicious food.
Our passion for all things beautiful and our love of entertaining lead us to imagine creating a space of luxury and comfort, inspired by nature's elements where people could get together and celebrate as free spirits.
At Bacchus, we offer luxury picnic services and more to help you celebrate your life’s most precious moments such as wedding anniversaries, baby showers, birthday parties, engagements, graduations, or any other occasion that you would like to acknowledge in an unforgettable way.

About Us
Wanita - At the young age of 8, I already had a passion for cooking, standing on a chair cooking up a storm combining ordinary ingredients with elements of nature that I would forage. A few years later, I would prepare 3 to 5 course meals for my parent's friends. My love of hosting continued as I had a family, throwing out-of-this-world parties, writing a cooking blog, and providing delectable pleasure to everyone who tasted my food.
Rana - As an archaeologist who spent many uncomfortable nights sleeping in a camp in the middle of nowhere, I had always dreamt of creating an experience where being outdoors would be fun yet comfortable and elegant. When I moved back to Vancouver in 2019 the beautiful scenery inspired me to make this dream a reality and share it with those adventurous souls who like to celebrate special occasions in unconventional ways.
About Bacchus
God of wine, fruitfulness, and celebration
Bacchus was inspired by the Roman god of the same name, also known as Dionysus in Greek myth. He is associated with wine-making, festivities, theatre and rebirth.
Bacchus was perceived as a youth of exceptional beauty with somewhat effeminate features who travelled the Mediterranean, Middle East, and India teaching people how to make wine. There are many cults associated with Bacchus. In ancient Greece, every March, the city of Athens would hold a festival known as the Great Dionysia. Dating as early as the sixth century B.C., this dramatic festival lasted as many as six days and was accompanied by drinking and theatre performances.
These cults continued into the Roman period, celebrated as Liberalia, and were accompanied by wine, music, and ecstatic dance to free the citizens from self-conscious fear and care, and subvert the oppressive restraints of everyday life.
